Hello my sistas in scrap!
It is I, long ago, a women who scrapped 3 to 4 pages a day!
Life threw me some curves and I danced with them!

I have a 3 day weekend. No kids or hubby. They are going camping. I have a to do list...
and at the top.
Clear out office and start scrapping!!!!
 
it's on and you are coming in loud and clear! i was just thinking about you earlier in the week - wonderful to see you lighting up our forum. enjoy the 3 days of "me time" :)

Well tell please -- how did you loose the weight? I need to loose alot of weight (80 pounds) and I am struggling.

in Feb, I went to a really really mean doctor. He said, I was slowly killing myself, one pound at a time. I was at 247 pounds. He made me so mad! I told him I will lose 40 pounds in 6 months. He said, I don't think you can do it.

well, don't tell me I can't do something...lol

I started on a treadmill, crying after 15 minutes...then did it.
I refused to stop.
I was not going to do a diet until I could exercise regularly.

April-rushed to ER, with what we thought was a heart attack! it wasn't, I have a heart thing, my heart skips, then misses a beat, and it feels like a heart attack...it is nothing serious, but got my attention even stronger!

I then joined 10 ladies in my church for encouraging group and we all put $10 in for winner takes all 3 month challenge. It ends next Tuesday! I am in the running to win!! 7 of the ladies quit, and the 3 that stayed in, we are so happy to feel so much better.

I began swimming. 10 laps, then 20, until I was doing 40 in an hour...and kicking it!!

I started low carb and finally found my niche with KETO. I found new ways to cook new things...and the weight started coming off. I do intermittent fasting, which is smaller eating window. I only eat from 10 am to 3pm. that is it. low low carb with high fat and proteins.

I go back to my doctor in September, he is not mean, he was honest and knew how to push the right button. I will be 50 pounds by then, and able to run, jump and still breath!
 
I love that your rebelliousness against the suggestion you couldn't do it is what worked! I hear swimming is such a great exercise. I prefer walking but I bet the pool is wonderfully refreshing.

I have just joined a gym, found an instructor who is fabulous and very encouraging (he is older so doesn't see me as an invisible 50yo which the younger ones tend to do) so I feel at home there. So hopefully kilos off but I am already feeling stronger and fitter - all good!
Adorable baby btw!
