well we went to look at kittens today. an hour away and they had none left. so we looked at the adult cats. they had a young female between 8 and 10 months. a calico. that was the most loving kitty i've ever encountered. the only issue is she might be pregnant. so we paid the donation and we'll find out on wednesday. if she's pregnant, she'll go to a foster and we could take her after. my house is too crazy for a pregnant kitty and kittens. this place is an hour away. the woman running the shelter didn't think she was, but wanted to confirm with the vet on tuesday.

We just got a kitty too. :) She's calico too. But Persian. :)

she didn't have a name. so we are trying to figure it out. contenders right now...

Awww... she's pretty! :) I think Stella looks like it suits her. :) I am crossing everything for you that she isn't preggers. It can be so frustrating to wait.

I was working with a Persian rescue that would only communicate via email, and they were not good at responding AT ALL. They also didn't update their website, so you'd think you had a chance at adopting one, only to find out someone else grabbed it. I finally got fed up. My sis found an ad on Craigslist, so we drove about 75 minutes to pick up our little girlie. We named her Isabella. :)
 
She is cute -- hope you can bring her home soon. We just adopted two a couple of weeks ago. A little female and a male. So far, we think their names are Mini and Jasper.
 
She's beautiful!!! I love calico kitties. I've only had one, but we had to put her to sleep a few months ago when she suddenly got very very sick. We all miss her terribly...she had such personality!
 
i think she will be penny. and of course, everyone around here is acting like sheldon knock knock knock penny knock knock knock penny knock knock knock penny! ;)
 
Aw!!! She is gorgeous! I kinda want a new kitty too, but the hubster says no. The kids want a dog and I say no... so there we are.
 
what a pretty girl ... fingers crossed it is a no on the preggo thing and she gets to come home with you soon!

She's so very gorgeous - I would love a kitty but we host all the neighbors cats in our back yard at the moment, neutral territory I think. But would still love one of my own...

she is not pregnant, was spayed yesterday, and the vet gave her a clean bill of health. we go pick her up tomorrow. so excited! her name will be penny. :)
 
She is adorable! And yay that you get to bring her home right away!
