Kindle update? deadline tomorrow?

Hi guys,
I just saw an article saying the dead line for all Kindle from 2012 and before (mine is 2011 +3G or WI Fi) is tomorrow... I never got a notification that I needed to update..... but when I went to the page where it tells you how to update, apparently they send everyone to update to version 3.4.2 ...which is what I have...
this may be a dumb question but...
is it possible that they updated me automatically? can't find anything either in My Amazon or in my Kindle that says I have automatic updates?
 
If your wireless is on, it will automatically update you. Because I have a TON of library books on my kindle that are returned but not read, I couldn't turn on my wireless to get the update, so I manually updated via my computer and USB. Update worked fine and it did not change any of my collections or homepage or anything. If you go here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=200529680

And find your kindle, it should walk you through whether you need to update or not.
 
thanks girls, I think it did update me automatically because I am already on 3.4.2 which is what what I ffouind in Aazon and what Karen passed here the links says I need to be....
thanks so much... I just wanted to be sure and Sarita was asleep.... we spent the afternoon eating like little (or big LOL) cows and watching You Me & the Apocalypse..... she apparently is healing better now, so I am watching her like a hawk for her not to move too much....
of to have dinner (carry on eating.... at least I haven;t smoked a cigarette for quiet a while....)

LOL, Cyn, your too cool. I find Amazon is just like apple and they force updates on you when you aren't looking. Seems this one was good for all...

Not like I know anything ever, for sure. But that's my advice for today. ( not like I should give it either...)

I always welcome anything you have to say to me, @Lindzee ... if it wasn't for you guys here, I would have gone bananas a looong time ago!!!! LOL
true about Apple...now I have a firewall do I have to aproove updates... I dont want to upgrade but I m afraid I will have to soon....my videos aren';t playing well and that is because am in (I think ) snow leopard.....
anyway, I need to get some sleep, will be around tomorrow to chat <3
