Kim Jensen November Challenge - Thankful for NOT happening

You're getting an extra day to work! I am leaving town early in the morning tomorrow, but wanted to make sure this November Challenge was posted for y'all to start working!

Hello! Welcome to Kim Jensen's November Challenge. November is a month that everyone always posts and reflects on what they are thankful FOR. For this challenge, I'd like a story on something that you are thankful did NOT come to pass or did NOT happen. It's still a thankful, but I want to see something that you're glad didn't happen, when it maybe appeared that it would.

For this month's challenge, the theme is "Thankful for Not....". Pictures are optional, because if it "didn't happen", then there may not be a photo! I do want to see journaling that contains at least four sentences. Tell me what didn't happen, and why you're glad it didn't!

CHALLENGE:
Using Kim Jensen Designs products, create a page that highlights something that you are thankful did not happen.
BONUS: Combine two or more different Kim Jensen kits or products.

General Challenge Rules: General Challenge Rules
*Use at least 75% Kim Jensen Designs product (current or retired from TLP) to create your layout meeting the criteria listed above.
*Upload your layout to the Kim Jensen gallery. Please include your credits.
*post your layout to this thread and link to your gallery post.
*Layouts must be new for this challenge and cannot be combined with other challenges.
*All layouts must be posted by 11:59pm Pacific Time, November 30, 2024.

Prizes:
*One layout will be chosen to receive a $10 coupon for Kim Jensen Designs’ shop!
*All other participants will receive a 20% off coupon for Kim Jensen Designs’ shop!
*You may enter multiple layouts to increase your odds of winning the $10 prize, but each scrapper will only receive one coupon.

This is kind of dark, but It's my truth.
Journaling reads: I am thankful that:
I didn't take my own life at 14.
I got clean and sober at 28.
I didn't die when I had a series of heart attacks.
I didn't die from my Stage 3 Colon Cancer.
I'm still alive at 71.
