Ketchup/Catsup | Pad Patter 2/28

Heinz, on the side (B) b/c I don't like soggy fries and LOTS of it ... I like fries with my ketchup.

As to ketchup/catsup my mother bought some brand in the 60s that was labeled "catsup" not ketchup.

Ooooo ... Heinz used to be labeled "catsup."

I'm definitely a "B". I don't want my fries soggy before I get to them, but I love LOTS of ketchup! :agree
 
Tomato sauce over here and A, thin stream all over.
We have tomato sauce, which is different from ketchup. Ketchup usually has some spices and such while tomato sauce is pureed tomatoes. Is your tomato sauce the same as ours?
 
Um, if it's my choice - C) gravy (do you spy the Canadian?!?!) with cheese if possible!

But, if it's ketchup only (dang America) then it's B. Because A is messier and I am horrible and almost always multitasking while eating.

We call your ketchup - tomato sauce, it's what we put on fries etc.
We also have pureed tomatoes which would be for cooking with.

Our tomato sauce ingredients: Tomato Concentrate (Water, Tomato Paste) (minimum 44%), Cane Sugar, Salt, Spices (Irradiated).

I may be showing my age - but I remember them saying 36 tomatoes in every bottle.

It sounds like pureed tomatoes are like our tomato sauce. Do you have crushed tomatoes and diced tomatoes too? and tomato paste? (Sorry if it's too many questions! I love learning about the differences.)

Yes we have diced tomatoes, ( different varieties with onion, garlic, italian flavours etc), and tomato paste and pasta sauces that could well also be tomato based that you use ready made over cooked pasta.
