That Caleb has a better first day of school than he did yesterday. After the teachers put him on the wrong bus and then the bus driver letting him off at our house with no parent I can only imagine how worried he's going to be... my poor boy. I felt awful and still feel sick to my stomach and the thought of him sitting at our doorstep crying. All I want to do is hug him and keep him safe. I feell like I've somehow failed him. But as Sara told me on FB, today is a new day... right? :)

Oh Renee, that is so scary for you and Caleb. Today is a new day and I will definitely be praying that today goes better and all is right in his world.

I´m sorry that the first day had such a bad start! I´m sure today will be tons better!!!

Poor buddy! Here's hoping for a great day today! :clap

That is really awful Renee :( I'm so sorry!! I hope that things go smoothly today :)

Give the lil' guy big hugs. My grandson had a rough first day a couple of weeks ago but now....he's flying off the bus to get to school each day. He loves Kindergarten.

Oh no. That is such a disappointing first day.
But just like Sara said... or the quote from Ann of Green Gables...
"Today is a new day, with no mistakes in it"

HUGS sweetie.

Oh no, poor little Caleb! But kids are resilient, he'll forget about it long before you do.

We have a back-up plan, but I need to go over it with the kids again. We pick one of our neighbours that is usually home during the day and tell the kids to go there and have them phone me if they can't get into the house.

So hoping today will be fabulous sweetie! And before you know it that uneasy and somewhat scary first day will just be a faded memory. ((hugs)) ♥

oh no! poor guy! keeping my fingers AND toes crossed that today is a MUCH better day!

Eek! That's scary! Sorry he didn't have a magical first day. I'm sure today will go much better!

Yay! So today was better but he was going to daycare.... but he was all smiles when I picked him up. Thanks for all your positive thoughts. Let's hope they put him on the correct bus tomorrow!
