A post about scrapping all those real moments on the blog today. :)

This was a fun project!

I tend to just do the Hallmark moments, I prefer to focus on the positive just because being negative comes naturally to me. Love the article on the blog though, very well done. I may just try it.

I like to put my other moments into art journaling where I can express my feelings and if needed covering them up. But I disagree with scrapping a bad choice of one of my kids. It just seems more hurtful to me.

Meeee tooooooooooooo!!! But this year, I tried to slide in a few of those real - but funny moments cuz we have PLENTY! Like the case of the missing lunchbox (spoiler alert it was under child's bed) etc Ive still been able to do some of those real pages but with humor

@carilyne I know what you mean, I think it depends on said child, your relationship w them and do they think its funny too. Not picking on them - but laughing with them.

Hmm - good post. I am scrapping chronologically and next up are pics of son and girlfriend with dreamy, lovely-dovely eyes for both. However, they broke up just a week ago. I think I will scrap them, but keep my comments to a minimum.

Bev, I thought I might be seeing two weddings this spring - my son and my grandson. However, on a recent visit, my grandson told me they broke up after 4?5? years at the start of the fall semester. Fortunately still good friends as they are finishing up their senior year of college at the same college. Life goes on and I'll pass on scrapping this.

I no sooner finished my oldest daughter's wedding album, and she told us it was the biggest mistake of her life and was leaving him. I hadn't even started the honeymoon book yet!

I love this post!! I do these every now and then but not nearly enough. You've inspired me to do some of these.
