Hugs to you!! My mom is going through this too. She was on dialysis about 15 years ago and was able to get off of it for years. Her kidneys have gone downhill again lately and she's recently gotten on the transplant list after jumping through all of the necessary hoops. Hers is due to an auto-immune disease, so I'm not sure if I have any info that would be of help to you... but please do not hesitate to ask and I'll see what I can find out!
 
@LoveItScrapIt Kiana, I'm so very sorry you and your family are going through this. I was completely stressed out when my husband had pneumonia for 2 weeks, so I can't imagine how hard it must be for you to deal with something on this other level. I wish there was something IRL I could do for you but since there isn't, I will definitely be adding your dear hubby to my prayers and will ask God to give you all the grace and strength you need for yourself and your family. May his healing power shine down upon your husband. If you ever need to talk, I'm happy to be an ear. Big hugs, lady! :glomp:heartlub
