We've had crazy stuff going on since MOC! But the worst was Saturday night. My hubby and I were in our car, slowing down to turn when someone crashed into us from behind and then sped off. My hubby is fine, but our car is probably not repairable and I bumped my head pretty hard and now have two black eyes. I look like Rocky after a fight, lol. But, I'm so, so thankful that it wasn't worse! And that our kids who were in the car in front of us didn't get hit. I'm really taking it easy this week, but hope to be back scrapping soon. :)
 
Oh my! So glad you are all ok - the car, although it's not ideal or easy, can be replaced!

Rest up and relax, take time to heal and get over the shock xx

Waw, this is definitely serious stuff. Definitely glad you are fine. And the car, well, sad for the money and the loss, but in the end, that is less important than your lifes...
 
So sorry to hear this! So frustrating and annoying when you're just minding your own business and this happens. Glad you're (mostly) ok!
 
So glad you are okay -- had that happen several years ago (without the black eyes). Glad you are taking it easy and that you shared -- it helps with the shock of the whole thing. So scary!
 
Sorry to hear about this. Black eyes are never any fun. They hurt AND they hurt to look at. Hope it heals really fast for you!
 
oh wow! I'm glad to hear that no one was hurt more seriously! Just take it easy!! And is it ok to say "What losers to hit and run."
 
oh my, Karen. Rest up and I'm thankful it wasn't any worse. Take pics of your Rocky eyes... you'll appreciate them one day :)
 
Cars are replaceable. You are not. I hope you had yourself checked over. Two black eyes from a bump on the head could be serious. Take care of yourself.

Exactly! A car is just an object. You're human, take care of yourself the best you can. I'm glad you're ok.
 
Oh my goodness, what a horrible thing to happen. I'm so glad you and your family are (relatively) ok. What a nasty thing to hit and run. I hope they catch whoever did this.

happy to read you and your husband are ok !! it's the principal. Car is exchangeable even if it's not always easy!!!
 
Oh wow, what an ordeal! Glad you and yours are (mostly!) unharmed and hope your eyes heal up quickly!

Oh Karen! That is so scary! I'm so sorry that happened to you! I hope that you don't have any lasting effects from hitting your head and I'm glad that everyone else in your family is okay. I sure hope they somehow are able to catch whoever did that to you too! Take care of yourself!
 
oh yikes! so glad you all are OK (relatively speaking) - sounds like it could have been much worse! and sorry about your car :(
 
so sorry to hear this Karen! that is just awful. :( take care and rest and i hope things get easier for you guys going forward.
