June 27 Speed Scrap!

We are having a Speed Scrap today in the chat room! (link to chat is in the top navigation bar on the site) For those of you who may want to participate and are not in the chat room, I will post the Speed Scrap directions here as well. Everyone who participates and uploads a page by 2PM EDT today will receive a prize from the lovely Amy Martin! :beat

Starting at noon EDT today I will give directions every 10 minutes for an hour. At 1PM EDT all directions will be given and you will have one hour to complete your layout and get it uploaded to the Speed Scrap gallery HERE. Deadline to upload your layout and post here is 2PM EDT.

Please remember that layouts must contain 75% TLP product (eligible product can be current or retired product from resident designers, or guest designer product that is currently in the TLP store.)

Here we go:

1. Select one photo and place it toward the bottom of your page. (Optional: Process your photo and add a fun tint of color to it)
2. Place a background paper on your canvas. Cover the very top and bottom of your background paper with a border of some kind. (elements, other papers, or brushes)
3. Using a mix of patterned papers or paper elements, place at least four square or rectangular shapes layered under or around the photo.
4. 'Punch' at least one shape out of one of the patterned papers on your page. Place the punched out shape as an element on your page.
5. Add some more elements. One must be something you can journal on (a label or a journaling spot). Another must be a button.
6. Add some journaling and a title that contains at least two alphas/fonts.
7. Add some paint somewhere on your page and you are done!

Now where is that Anne lady? She said in chat she was making chocolate cake pops so maybe she is in a food coma.

Carolee! thanks hun! :P I missed the chat by like 2 mins! *L* I am at the clinic doing major tests today so this was GREAT therapy while I am being poked and tourtured.. *L*
