June 2015 Sketch Challenge!

Hey all! Welcome to another edition of the sketch challenge!

This month we are going to be using a 4 x 6 sketch. Itty bitty photos are so cute and can still leave an impact on your layout despite their size. This month’s sketch includes some photo booth strips to encourage you to include some more pictures on your layout. Have fun and get creative with the sketch!



Here is a reminder how this challenge works. I will provide you with a sketch. Your job is to create a layout using this sketch. Obviously the first thought would be that this is strictly for pocket scrapping. Not so!!! All layouts integrating the sketch are welcome! Integrate it how you would like....a pocket page card, a greeting card, or part of your digi page. As with all templates/sketches this is a jumping off point! Use your creativity and have fun!

A few things to know before you get started. As you complete your page, please remember to follow the Lilypad Challenge rules: Your page must contain at least 75% of Lilypad products. You should post your layout (with a link) in this thread so it can be tracked! Also please leave a short description letting us know what inspired you from the sketch. And of course, your page should be posted in the Lilypad Gallery so we can leave lots of love!

This contest will close on Tuesday, June 30 at 11:59PM ET. The winner will receive a $3 store coupon. Loved the angled photo strips. Modified the sketch to incorporate them into a 12x12 layout.

Lorry - I love that vellum-ish paper you added to your layout! So cool!
Denise -- I love how you took the sketch and expanded it to a full layout!
Gaelle -- Not sure about the big picture...did you post it in the forum and then copy it from there? That is what I do. Make sure you are clicking on the large image not just the thumbnail. I love how you changed the number of photos in the photostrips! Great way to make the sketch work for you!

well here I am, almost on deadline day, but just in time! I liked the idea of using several photos (I always have too many photos!), and having them down one side really appealed to me. I also liked the title going sideways, but couldn't get my journalling to fit with it that way (another of my troubles, I often have too much to say and not enough space where I want to say it!). So here is how it looks on an A4 size page!
