Day 30: Travel Story

Journaling:
We stopped over in LA on our way to Europe, we had a few activities planned but the most important was our three day pass to Disneyland. It was so much fun, we went on every ride we could and some more than once.Of course we had to meet Mickey, that involved queuing for what seemed like hours with lots of people a lot shorter
and younger than us. Eventually we made it to the head of the queue and got our photo taken.. It was so much fun there, I would love to return one day.

Day 31: Travellers Notebook

I struggled to find a story, so hopefully this one will do.

Journaling:
When I was about ten, I met **** We were at the same school, and sometimes in the same class, for the next five years. We weren’t close friends but often sat together when we were in the same class.
Turns out my Dad worked with her mother and played soccer with her father.

One night we went out to meet a friend who was bringing his new girlfriend. To my surprise it was ****. They married, moved overseas and we lost touch.
A few years later, I take my infant child to Jumping Beans - low and behold we meet **** there, so we got to catch up each week until the kids outgrew the activity.
Different schools, different suburbs and yet we kept running into each other. The next place was Gymnastics when the kids were in different classes held at the same time. We would chat whilst we waited on the sideline. Then it was swimming lessons where once again we would gossip whilst the kids swam.
