So a little background information: I'm from Allentown, PA. A year ago I started a job out in New Mexico. It didn't work out.

I just heard today that I was accepted for an interview down in Orlando, FL (yes, the Disney freak might work near Disney), and I'm exceedingly nervous. I don't want to mess this up, but how does one get around getting terminated from the last lab position? That's what scares me the most.

Thanks.

honesty! be honest and throw in how much you love Disney lol
good luck kim!!! rooting for ya...although, I am in NewMex, and it would have been fun to say hey in person! lol

Yeah, just be honest I think. These days people don't seem to stay at the same job for their whole careers as much, so I think it is far more common for both companies and employees to cut ties when things aren't perfect. Don't try to hide anything, but rather focus on what has gone well for you in the past.

Good luck!

honesty is always the best and trust me i have left a job without giving a 2 weeks notice and they told me they wouldn't give me a good reference on my next job. i had no problems getting another job. i bet you will do fine. just be honest and upfront. i am rooting for you. i agree with Karen that people don't seem to stay at the same job for their whole careers as much anymore. Good luck!!!

Thanks guys.

I'm super nervous, but I do get to go do Disney after the interview, so I have a reason to survive it.
:thumbsups

I'm already studying and it's still two weeks away. Two weeks from today I'll be interviewing. AH!

You will do well.. just think positively and show confidence and be honest and yourself. And think of going to Disney as your reward for the interview :) Best of luck to you!!
