Flowers are not one of my usual "go to" items nor are they a favorite so this was a definite challenge. I have well more than 20 on the layout in the 4 colors of yellow, white, pink and lavender.
Flower colors: red, yellow, brown, white, marigold and greenish brown added in. Title, date, short journaling, sequin spray and butterflies as extra elements.
“When a friend is going through a difficult stormy time in their life, try to be the rainbow that makes them smile.”
I lost track of how many flowers! LOL! Thank for the fun challenge. I always love the chance to use LOTS of flowers!!! The background paper is from the All About: You TLP Collab. @dailydwelling - was a "messy" background paper okay, or would you rather something more simple? I can easily change it.
There should be at least 20 visible flowers. I used 37, but I layered them on top and below each other. 7 giant yellow flowers that are the base of the shape just barely peek out. Colors - Red, brick, orange, yellow, magenta
Thanks for hosting this challenge, Monica. This one took me out of my comfort zone, but I am quite happy with how it turned out. (Edited to add a photo.)
Thank you so much for this inspiring challenge! It was exactly what I needed to get my scrap-mojo back! And as an added bonus: Searching for all the flowers I now also gained an overview of the scrapbooking kits I can use for the other MOC challenges! I used 44 different flowers in this layout:
Not my usual style at all, I was going to cluster them around a regular stroked photo but really wanted to do something more in the spirit of the challenge and the sample layout, so this is what I ended up with. Thank you for the challenge <3
