Tried to make this fit my minimalist style: I have (1) date dangle (2) photo dangle (3+4) separate tag dangles. Thanks for the challenge!
Leave it to me to turn a relatively simple project into a huge challenge!!! that said, I loved the concept.. would have been so much easier if I had this sort of elements files... searching through blank folders was for the elusive perfect treasure not fun... I found the instructions for this afghan in a book bought at Justine's favorite Thrift shop. The instructions are very simple, the texture created with multiple kinds of yarn all in the same color. This was not possible without buying the yarn it called for which was cost prohibitive. So I set about finding yarns that played nice together... we debated over many beautiful yarns. This is her version of the one I made first, for myself...
It is very art journal with lots of paint so to be clear. Dangle 1. New & road journal card with blue ribbon leading to the heart & 2022. Dangle 2. Stitched down heart fabric piece with burgundy string leading to the heart padlock. Dangle 3. Stitched down word art with flower taped to it, stitching from there to the green button cluster. Dangle 4. Butterfly journal card stapled down with ribbon, has green ribbon leading to flower cluster.
