January 26 - Duotone Technique

very interesting Challenge- thank you!
I have one more question
can the photo also be further edited, such as blended or double exposure, or should only Duotone and nothing else be used?

Yes, blending is fine. As long as the duotone effect is obvious.

This definitely doesn't work. I can get Artisan to do almost anything that any other program can do! But I've tried everything I can think of and nothing worked. Then I tried the program that was suggested and it was brilliant!

I'd suggest Artisan users use this! It's so easy to do! :) https://medialoot.com/duotones/

This was what I got using the blue and green. I liked brown and yellow more, but it looks like i changed it to sepia and that's not what you want. I changed the photo to black and white first! :)

Thank you for keeping at it! I am truly sorry for the frustration. SO glad that the on-line generator worked for you.

thanks for confirming! I didn't even open Artisan or Historian to check after reading the thread, just went here, saw the second option was "Gryffindor" and knew EXACTLY what to do :)

Wow, thank you, your instructions were great. This is a tad trippy but here goes. The kit is Forever Joy's Day Dreamer.

Interesting technique. Might be fun to use for a fun teenager page! I used the duotone website. The second option available was a color option called Gryffindor. I use Artisan and after making my picture with the website, did try in Artisan and Historian (another of the CM software) and couldn't get it to look anywhere near as good as this.
