well as the finish line looms, i came full circle and back to the Alice theme you started with Tracie and once i figured that out, the text and fonts were the easy part - thanks for the push shove challenge!
This was kinda fun once I figured out what I was doing! Thanks! I used these fonts:
You Are Loved, Lithos Pro, Georgia, KG When Oceans Rise, Master of Break, Will&Grace
The fonts in the Subway Art
Life isn’t : boatman regular
About waiting: Ariel
For the: chalkboard se
Storm: chalkduster
To pass. It’s: Farah
About: dream orphans
Learning to: Ariel
Dance: ld laundry night
In the: copperplate
Rain: dream orphans
I rasterized the individual words, and then clipped paper to them, and then added a 3-D style.
My Nemeses, the one challenge that stopped me in my tracks, I didn't mind it on a challenge level, I minded because me font work sucks. I did the page itself I think on the 23 and then worked on the subway art until the early early hours of the 2nd of February, like 9 ten am, I pulled an all nighter on it. So thanks for teaching me new words, typography, and a few others. LOL I didn't break my ipad, although it got threatened a few times, I downloaded numerous apps, I asked for help, and in the end I created a gorgeous page that has so much personal meaning behind it, I could never ever convey it in words. I used the song I hope you Dance by Lee Ann Womack for the journalling part of the challenge. For the actual subway art I used something I saw on Pinterest for inspiration and then made it my own.
