January 21: Birthday Challenge

I used the shape tool of a suitcase and modified it to make the cake layer shapes and then clipped paper to that. Applied gesso style to cake layers for texture. Candles are made from knitting needle element. Flame is made from leaf on shape Floral ornament1
 
My numbers are 1.5 inches tall in my 12x12 layout. I didn't have ANY birthday TLP stuff and I bought a kit thinking it was TOMORROW so that I could get the FWP birthday kit. DOH!!!!!!!! I made due with what I had.

 
A Happy Birthday! Challenge!...A Surprising Challenge!...I Don't Really Scrap Birthdays!...Can't Remember The Last Time I Had...But I Found A Very Old Photo Of Me,My Brother & My MOM!...The Photo Is Roughly 47 Years Old!...So Non-Digital! For Sure!...The Photo Was Pretty Bad!...It Took Me A Long Time To Get It To Look Any Semblance Of Good!...& I Say Only Good!...Not Much Better Than That!...But I Made A Nice Birthday Layout Around It!...Of Which I'm Very Happy About!...And At The Very Least...The Photo Makes Me Smile Every Time I Look At It!...

I copied and pasted your multilingual birthday greetings into a layer above my paper and blended them in. :D
How convenient that my husband's birthday was yesterday.
