My take. My hubby calls our dog Freya "Chien" and he kind of screams it, so it seemed appropriate to have it real big and in all caps. I used a font and clipped off the top paper to do a sort of cutout showing off the bottom paper. I LOVE this and I think I'll use it again in the future, thanks for a great challenge! This was different and fun.... For 2-3 years now World Market has been doing a fun promotion a bit before Christmas... They hide a token time someplace in the store, next to something white, or something Glass or ??? The clue is posted in e-mail and text messages and on their website... starting at the store opening, everyone and starts scouring the store, looking for the ”item” usually something printed on a card, not a 3 dimensional real thing, although one time is was an actual bell. Usually 5-6 , each one carries a code telling what you have won... i.e. gift certificates that must be used that day... I win every time and have gotten some really cool things I would not have splurged for , but really wanted... this year the promotion was back .. The “item” a sleigh printed on the stand up card I am holding... I found it interesting that this card was not hidden standing upright, but left folded and slid in beside a display stand, almost invisible had already “shopped” for what I wanted when I won!!! I had lusted after this planter in the summer costing $80 it was on sale now for $50... I was sad when I only won $20. So figured I was going to have to pay for the rest... it was the only thing I wanted! But when the cashier rang it up, there was a problem ... It turned out it was actually on sale for $19.99...a penny short of my GC... I had to buy a dollar package of candy to push it over the $20 amount... So in the end I got my $80 planter for free!!! I was beyond happy... I had just bought the ornamental Kale plants at Green Acres, and they were in need of a home..
This was a lot of fun, thank you @Dalis and let me know if the train tracks are too prominent. I used an alpha by PRD.
I'm so inspired by all the stamp/ink/marker type titles. I chose a stamped alpha and tried a bit of stamped-over-two-layers effect.
Let me know if I need to redo the page. I found out that Pink Reptile Designs had closed their shop when I went to link the alpha spelling out AFTERMATH. Everything else is from current kits and linked.
This ended up being real simple, but it didn't start out that way! lol! thanks for the great challenge!
