I still struggle with how to do this - when I open templates each one opens on its own layer and I can't get them both on the same layer. I had to completely scrap what I wanted from one template save it as a jpg then open it and place it on the other template. I'm sure there has to be an easier way! I used Whimsical template duo by Gina Miller and Band of Color by Scrapping With Liz.

    Here's mine:

Glamour Templates by Scrapping With Liz is the big photo with the circles on the right (I rotated it), and Templated Trio #12 by Mommyish is the photo cluster on the left with the word art and paper strips.

It's always hard for me to get started when I have to make all the choices, lol... But, I got this idea of having a close up being in the cluster and the big photo being the view from far away or the view from a window. I started with some window pics but my teenager said the page was not looking how it felt that day and I should keep looking. He approves of these pics, though, and says this combo shows how he felt that day!

    Huggles!!

Best way is to open both templates separately. Then you can select all the layers of one template, copy them and then paste them on the other template. Then you can rearrange and delete layers.
When you open a template in an exsiting layout, then it will open as 1 layer, that is not what you want.
    Hope this helps you

I chose "Just This" by Lynn Grieveson for it's photo arrangement. I wanted to use the photo spaces for one big picture. I bought "We Are Family" because I love the paint drips.
