Im hoping this is ok, I used my paint and combined it with my photo (many times over) to get this look! I wasnt sure if that would count but I hope it does!!
Thanks for the challenge! This sad photo of my son who had to self-isolate again was crying out for this type of page. I chose to use the journal card.
Here is my layout: 1.) Your photo and elements can only take up a maximum of ¼ of your page - check 2.) A neutral background paper - check 3.) One photo (with or without a stroke.) - check 4.) Some paint/small splatter - check 5.) A maximum of 5 small additional elements - check (Date tab, leaves, flower, stitches, chocolate heart) 6.) Some journaling is allowed (a title, date, word art) but keep it simple - check (date and title) 7.) Optional: Use of a journal card or one square of paper no larger than a journal card is optional - check - used a rectangle of patterned paper to mat the picture (layout will be printed as 8" x 8" so patterned paper is about the size of journal card).
Not sure why I had such a mental block for this one... this is usually my favorite challenge! And once I knew what I was doing, of course the page came together super quick.
