JANUARY 13: Scraplift

Thank goodness for the Month of Challenges. I needed to scrap something difficult and so I decided to do this page as a challenge. Only way I managed to get it done without breaking down.

Mine:

My inspiration:

Nancy Beck’s layout that I scraplifted:

My layout:

I didn't want to lift a layout somebody else had picked so I went way back in the gallery and found this... "Play" by my3hens:

Lifted this beautiful layout:

I rotated it clockwise and came up with this:

Dalis love for her daughter makes me want to read more...and I love that her hubby took so many photos!

and my page:

I have wanted to try this technique ever since I saw it months and months ago. I will be back later with my version of the technique and this layout by Norton 94 using the technique taught by Zinzilah (Olga) in her tutorial:

WELL, I admire all those who can do this technique. I just couldn't master it; I wanted all the gradients of color in the face. So I just did 80% of the face with the Paper Collage technique and the rest of the photo is using Poster Edges.
