I loooove this challenge! Thank you so much! I love mixed media with real paints and paper but never tried it digitally. So thank you so much to prompt me to try, it almost felt a little like "real" mixed media with the playing and just do whatever you feel like without a laid out plan. I was a little surprised by all that white space on a lot of the Layouts here. They are beautiful but mixed media just means a bit of another look for me. More paint, more mixing, more messy, too. So I did all that and had so much fun!

I didn't count the used paint and other mixed media elements ;)

More than 20 paint strokes, gesso, art markings, etc.

The white background made this harder than I had imagined but I still had lots of fun playing with brushes.

This might be a silly question. A brush is similar to a stamp, right? Do I have to "stamp" in black, or could I recolor the black image with another color? Not clipping a paper over it, but changing its color from black to, say, blue? Sort of like stamping with a different colored ink.

Please accept my apology if this doesn't make any sense. This is a very new idea to me and I'm seeking to understand.
YES! Sorry for the delay we were at the car dealership all afternoon, then out to dinner.
You can change the color of a brush which would be your ‘stamp’ just let me know in your credits so I m not looking for a black brush markings. If you need more help PM me!

This didn't feel like something out of my comfort zone, but it turned out harder than I thought... I started with a totally different idea in mind - which just refused to work - and ended up with my subconscious hijacking my creative process and taking over to express itself... hence the super long list of credits - totally uncarachteristic of me...

Awesome challenge thanks Barbara!
Here's my page!
