I LOVE scraplifts - almost as much as I love templates
Here's the original page... I knew immediately it was THE ONE when I saw it and what picture I was using for my scraplift:
And here's mine:
WOW, can this lady scrapbook!!!! What beautiful work! I had the hardest time finally finding the one I wanted to scraplift; I loved them all.
Here is the one I chose:
My page was influenced by this one of Tronesia’s… I loved the flowing downward lines in her page, though this photo of some dear friends meant flipping the whole thing 90 degrees I am thrilled with the resulting page that has my own special take on the lifted page.
And yes the photo was cropped like that when I got it…
I am not sure if I am supposed to post both in this thread or in "MY folder" so I am doing both
here's mine - I am not a fan of scraplift as I seem to find the things I am not supposed to do I took her LO and used the format of the photos...a t if you will and created my page with a t in it
ETA: here's my LO!
Looking through Tronesia's gallery, I fell in love with all her text blocks/shapes, etc. I decided to play with these myself... I still have a lot to learn about text paths/selections/shapes, but I'm happy with this result. I looked to google to show me some videos, but in the end, it took several tries to get it right. I could use some tips still.
So anyway. For this scraplift, I focused on the fact that her page had a quote inside the text. I didn't have a picture to go with this story, but it reminded me of this story so I told it, without a photo <3
