January 10: Shaped Alpha Designs

@jk703 Jenn... just to clarify - based on the instructions below - we CANNOT RECOLOR the alpha???

Additonal Information and Clarification:
  • A solid/filled shaped design could be a square, star, circle, heart, diamond, wave, or in the shape of a letter. You are not limited to these shapes alone; these are examples.
  • Painted Alphas are allowed as one of your alphas, fonts with styles and recoloring of alphas are not.

my shape is a circle. I made this look like an old movie ransom note as life is been super stressful and stress is tying to kidnap me. View attachment 316363 my alphas are all in a circle with my wording alphas over that. I re-worked the page as I didn't understand the rules previously and hope I do now. the background of my circle is a solid and all of the gorgeous goodies are listed in my own thread page.

I will clarify. Recoloring may occur if you are using 3 different alphas. I didn't want recoloring of the same exact alpha. Make sense? So, Yes, it's allowed if they are different alphas. I'll add this to the clarification post!

Here is mine: split rectangle is my shape and three alphas are PRD's The Sparkly Season (snow white), Perfect Together (wire) and Love you Beary Much (white) (I also have the 3 alphas in the center, but very faint)

My shape is a guitar imitating a ukulele :) So my alphas spell out ukulele.

Question: Is there a better way than merging layers before I clip all the alphas to my shape? I'm not sure, but it looked like it was diminishing the shadows when I merged the alphas.
