January 10: Shaped Alpha Designs

I was looking for a bit of inspiration and for better understanding this challenge, but recoloring wasn't allowed or is this okay… a bit confused…

Recoloring is ok, as long as you aren't recoloring the same alpha 3 times. You need to use three distinct alphas. Does that help?

I don't feel my alpha section is as polished as other peoples but this took me two hours to do, so I'm satisfied to a point :)

Finally got this done... knew what I wanted to do, but just could not get it to work for me.. WAY too much time spent... anyway, my shape is an apple....!

I had to re-do this one since for some reason the file didn't save while I was working on it (bummer):

Thanks for the great challenge, so unique!
The star is my shape. Two of the alphas are from the Project Mouse tomorrow alphas, and the other is the Project Mouse Enamel Pin alpha.

What a great challenge.
I used the square background as my shape. I decided not to let the heartshape of the photo overlap any of the letters, because I didn't want to use a frame or stroke around the heart. This way the letters become the frame around the picture. Hopefully it is okay like this.

Shape (lower) began as a 12x12 square that became a rectangle and then a shape with free form upper edge. Reduced and repeated the alpha pattern for the upper shape.

Alphas are all from Lynn Grieveson:
Quiet Life, Crazy Life and Iced kits
