January 1: "Brought to You by the Letter ..." (Journaling Challenge)

this is mine - i went with D as well and mixed and matched to try to incorporate some of my fave Dec things into the page (the paper clip and chalky look is to represent school finishing and the gold burst behind the D alpha is the summer sun here in December etc) and i used my avatar as that's me in front of the tree last xmas so it seemed fitting ;)

The MOC is going to be a half MOC for me because I'll be traveling out of the country starting the 13th, but let's see if I can keep up these first two weeks!
 
I chose the letter C because it is the beginning of my daughter's name.

 

Not as easy as I thought it would be but it was fun. Any journaling challenges really do challenge me. Thanks for starting off making me think!!

Fun Challenge! I chose G. I love the way the lowercase g looks. And then my boyfriend, Gayle's initial. <3 This layout took forever though! My G collage - I had that in mind since I read the challenge. I started at 1pm ish and now it's 6pm. I really need to speed up my scrapping. I thought it would take an hour, two most. ACK!
