So after 3 years or so of NO Scraping at all I decide to jump right into MOC as my 1st foray back into the world!

EDITED - I went with a different approach to my title; answer to original query is not needed.

@mrs2a50 - If the word art I want to use is a stamp, may I tweak it to include on my layout? Specifically, by changing the color or by using one of Mommyish's styles like Chip & Stick to turn it into a word art sticker? Or do I have to use it exactly as-is?

My first MOC! Hope I did this right. I almost missed #8 - the date. Luckily, I saw it before I uploaded. My 6 elements are: bird, bow, tree, banner, girl doll, and boy doll. I added the frame, journal card, and word art. I placed the date on the journal card. I uploaded to the Members Gallery. Hope that's the correct place. This one was fun, thanks! Hope you'll let me know if I did something wrong!

The green clothespin was part of the frame. Great challenge to ease us into MOC and the results so far are all beautiful!
