January 1: Blind Scrap (Random Challenge)

Here's mine :
ONE solid background paper.
ONE patterned paper smaller than background paper
ONE frame.
One photo inside frame.
One journal card
ONE piece of word art.
6 elements - staple, washi tape, 2 paper borders, 2 paint splats (top left and bottom right)
The date.

Hope I got it all right :) Thanks for the first challenge!

1. Start with ONE solid background paper
2. Add ONE patterned paper that is smaller than your background paper (you should still be able to see the solid background).

Great challenge--I'm having fun with this one! I have a couple of questions about papers.
  • First, is a woodgrain considered a patterned paper?
  • If the designer added a small painted border to a solid, does it become a patterned paper or is it still a solid?
  • Finally, how about an ombre paper that's a single color (ie, shades of green)--would that be a solid?
Thanks!

This was fun thanks for the challenge. The date is part of the 6 elements I hope that is OK.
