I've missed it here

I've been hiding out from everyone for awhile. I've just been in a rut and probably haven't made a layout in months and months, and I haven't regularly digital scrapbooked since my daughter was born. Her second birthday is October!! its crazy I feel like I just announced it. I've been regularly scrapbooking its just been paper, project life, or smash books.

I'm trying to find the mojo to get back into digital scrapbooking. Its going to happen... and you guys were always a favorite place to go. I need to find that one kit I want to pick up that will get me completely motivated and ready to go again!!

It's so hard to scrap with little ones! We get so busy that by the time we have a moment to sit and catch our breath scrapping is usually the last thing on our mind. Hope you'll be able to find that mojo again soon!

Everybody goes through cycles... you have been documenting your memories and in several different ways. Several of my digi friends have focused their efforts on PL right now and let the digi layouts sit on the back burner because they are just loving how PL focuses on their everyday. I say do what makes you happy! Maybe you are moving back up the digi-scrapping cycle!

I love your idea to just pick a photo you love and scrap it! I'm sure you'll be inspired just by browsing the store. I know I always am.

I hope your mojo will return soon. I have lost mine several times throughout my scrapping days and it's no fun. The link at the bottom of your signature caught my eye. My middle daughter is named Emma and we call her Em all the time

Oh what a sweet heart! She's beautiful! And what wonderful suggestions for scrapping that adorable photo!! My first thought when seeing the tones and colors of it, was the May BYOC. I think it's the blue of her shirt that struck me.

And welcome back!! I think our storytelling looks different during the different seasons of our lives. You're still getting the story documented, no matter the medium which is amazing! Happy that you feel TLP is home for you when the digiscrappy tug pulls at you!

Just found what I thought would be really nice with this photo - the August 2010 BYOC colours would go beautifully... and you might already have some of these in your stash. Here's some images (and links) from that BYOC (since we don't have a category for that anymore). The colours here have that same soft and dreamy feeling, and the purples/blues would really go well with your photo.
