it's snowing during summer!!!

yes you read right! We have had snow yesterday in the mountain regions of Victoria, Australia even though it is summer!! Last week they were on high alert for bushfires and now they have snow, how crazy is that??!!!

Kaye I googled it and it said that it happens every summer! Just not after a heatwave like you just had! Apparently in 96? they had snow on Christmas Day!

it's not unusual for the alpine regions to get cold snaps during summer but certainly not like this, they are usually only about 10 degrees cooler than the down the base of the mountains. Some of these regions have had the coldest day recorded in over 40 years
