It's Official.

We are moving again. Hubby starts this Tuesday. Which means that until we get through the relocation process, selling and buying houses & all that jazz, I will be functioning as a single mother. not a fan. But it's a familiar role, so I'll just go with it. Git-er-done.

i am on a rollercoaster of emotions. Happy & Excited one day and then bordering on freak-out the next. *sigh* We will get through this!!

:imok pray for me!

OMGosh, again? Where are you going to this time? I'm sorry, I wouldn't like that role either. Hope all goes as smoothly and fast as possible! xo

Whoa!! Didn't you just move?!? I hope things go smoothly. I know you can do it...even the single mom and packing stuff!

I was thinking the same as Laura and Jenni... I hope it all goes smoothly! Good luck, Rebecca!

Pratice makes perfect... right? Eeps! Sorry you're going to have to do this all over again... but there are lots of positive things to moving... like looking for a new house! I LOVE doing that! :) Hopefully you'll be able to get movers and all that jazz since it's a relocation too!

oh no! well, we're going to be moving again next year - so i know where you are coming from .... we just rented here though, b/c we had a feeling it wouldn't be for long ..

where are you moving? good luck packing, selling, etc .... arghh ...

Oh wow!! Where are you going this time! I hope all goes smoothly for you!

Good luck on the move! We haven't moved in 16 years and the clutter is ridiculous. At least that is one advantage to moving frequently!

so so sorry, Rebecca!! I was just thinking about you and wondering if you guys were going to have to move again. That so stinks!!

ah the joys. you'll do great - git 'er done is right because what other choice do you have? where are you heading?

We are heading to Indiana this time - just north of Indy. It's a gorgeous area... we just went there this weekend & checked it out.

The kids are REALLY excited about it at the moment. I am HOPING that excitement lasts and is enough to get them through saying goodbye to friends. :cry I have an idea that I think will really help them feel involved & take an interest. We are going to take them on the house hunting, even if I have to take them out of school to do it. And I'm going to make up checklists & print out enough for us to have checklists for each house.... then do kind of an I-Spy with the checklist... like this house has a Fireplace (check) and a Basement (check).... that sort of thing. Also going to put a spot on the page for them to write what they really liked about the house or what they didn't like about the house. They were super excited about that idea. I think it will really help them. And me... after looking at so many houses they all start to blend together in my head. Maybe the checklist will help me keep track of which house is which. :giggle

Dana right now there is a part of me that is really wishing we would have considered the renting route. We just didn't. Oh well.

And Amy you are very right. I have almost zero clutter in my house these days... that is definitely a plus to the moving process.

Oh Rebecca...what a process you are going thru! Hugs and best wishes as you go thru it all again! I am a little bummed you won't be moving back to MI though! ;) Indy's pretty close too though - I actually met some digi people there about 3 -4 years ago (Leeandra being one of them!)

Oh Rebecca, I'm sure another move isn't what you wanted. I am glad that your kiddos are excited right now and I hope the house hunting goes well.

WOW! Good luck with everything! Such a HUGE thing to move. But I really love your idea about the checklists for house hunting!

HEY! I am just West of Indy!!! well about 40 min. west. :)

I really hope it all goes well. I am sure it will be stressful. :(
