It's Monday (again)!

Another Monday is here. What do you have planned this week?

We have had an insanely mild winter and just got our first snow. It's not enough to sled or build a snowman, but DD is convinced we need to make snow cones. So, that's the start of my week! I'll be making snow cones today. We have some school valentines to finish up for the party tomorrow. On Wednesday, I am meeting a few girlfriends at Archivers to work on our Project Life albums. Can't wait! I got some new shelving for my craft room over the weekend, so I going to keep working on getting my organized in there as well. Ohhh, it really is a nice quiet week. (knock on wood!)

I'm really really hoping to get some scrapping done this week. I think I've finished all of 3 layouts so far this month which is really light for me...plus I want to get a start on the Feb. challenges. Other than that DD has a Valentine's Day pajama party with her homeschool group which will be lots of fun. Also need to spend some serious time cleaning....not sure what happened over the weekend but the apartment is sooooo messy. Drives me nuts.

Eeeeeks!:hairpol No! Not Monday already!!! :furious LOL! I guess my week is pretty typical(and I guess I like consitancy)... Work, getting my daughter to all her scheduled lessons and practices, and just keeping the household running smoothly. Oh, and my furballs(cats) have a vet appt. this week. That about sums it up for me. Oh... and of course, I will be squeezing in some scrappin' time, some where in there. :yesss

Have a great week everyone! And sending sanity wishes your way! :giggle

Well I'm battling a cold and have to work today and tomorrow... I'm heading out to Guelph for the weekend with my mom, aunt and grandmother for my Uncle's 50th birthday and I can't wait to spend time with them.. SANS kids! ;) Have a good week everyone!

Laura, you should post pics of your craft space! I need to be inspired. My dh just finished making shelving for my craft area and I need to stain them today. I need some more organizing tips/ideas to help with this area b/c my stuff is everywhere! :dizzy

My week seems pretty typical just need to get back into the swing of things since I was out of town for almost 2 weeks.

My son has an appt this week, hoping they will take him off one of his meds finally (he takes 4 things for ADHD and anxiety, but I think he's ready to drop one). Then a dentist appt for me on Thursday (fun). Kids are off Friday and the following Monday, so hopefully they'll be going to visit my ex. :giggle

Otherwise, not much going on.

Laura - we are having a mild winter too, and the lack of ability to sled is really the only problem with it at all! It is actually snowing a bit right now though, so we will see if it stays on the ground.

This week we are supposed to close on our house, so tonight we are going to pick our carpet and kitchen tile to get installed when we get the keys. We got all our paint chips yesterday! I haven't done hardly any packing, so I'm sure some of that might be happening this week as well. Besides that, I just have to focus on work and homeschooling which is incredibly difficult when I am so excited about the house!

Busy week. . . .

Mon: Hair appt for me! Finally! Meet with Principal at school regarding PTA (I'm the President next year~),Violin for daughter and finish up Valentines, register daughter for Swim Meet.
Tues: Dr. appt for son to recheck on broken collar bone (it's been 8 weeks and he's itching to get back to playing soccer!)
Valentine Class party for daughter, dinner with our little family (hubby made reservations! ;))
Wed: Tutor at School
Thurs: Drop off 2 dogs we've been watching for a friend, pack and get ready to leave for St. George. . . soccer tournament for son's team.
Fri-Mon: Soccer tournament and hopefully enjoy warmer weather!
Happy Week to you all!

I am getting a treadmill this week and I am soooo excited. I have been battling Alberta winters for far too long and even though it has been a very mild winter, I can finally buy one!!

Not too much on the schedule yet (although it always seem to fill up more as the week goes along)... Our weekend house guest is here until tomorrow morning. DD needs to make her Valentine box tonight for her school party tomorrow (which I'm helping with, but am thankfully not in charge of this year), and I have my weekly volunteer shift at her school library tomorrow. That's about it so far, so hopefully I'll be able to finish up this kit I've been working on. :)

We have our normal busy week with sports, scouts and school activities. I have school Valentine's parties to attend on Tuesday and I'm looking forward to that. My oldest kiddo has a two day swim meet this upcoming weekend that I have to work since our swim club is hosting.

I have a busy week. Need to get a paper review in, do a homework writeup for tomorrow, put together the presentation for my proposal, plus some random stuff. Craft-wise, I need to work on my PL Week 6 - I picked products and started editing photos over the weekend, and I'm excited about it! Now I just need time to work on it

That sounds like so much fun!!

Yay!! I talked DH into getting a treadmill 3 months ago, and I'm so glad we got it! I am so not a runner, but at least I'm getting some exercise now. I am sure I'll love it even more when summer comes around - I absolutely cannot run in the heat! :giggle

I seem to like Monday mornings lately - there's a calm before the rest of the week goes all wonky! LOL! I woke up on time, which isn't easy for me. I've got my coffee and listened to the Hunger Games on my way to work. So far so good!

This week, I'm starting a new gig at work! I'm finally going to be working a more steady schedule (I had been working a mix of days and nights) and working with a really great designer who I worked with years ago. I work for a design studio where we create pages for 9 newspapers, with more coming into the mix. I'm really excited because she's a great teacher and I feel like I'm going to get to work on some great stuff with her!

Today is my one day off...and it's snowing, so darn I guess I'll just hibernate and scrap!

Today I have to take my grandma around to do errands since she is without a car. It is my one day off this week, so I'm kinda bummed, which seems really selfish. :p I guess I feel that way though because we have a car she could use, but she refuses to use it and wants to go out (at 92) and buy a fancy car. LOL. So until she gets the fancy car, I am her chauffeur.

I'm looking forward to Wednesday because it will be our date night seeing the Leonardo exhibition at the theater. Yay. I've been waiting for a long time for that.

The rest of the week will be spent trying to soothe my DH's crankiness because he spent the weekend with his beast children, and they are so awful to him. Ugh.

I'm recovering from closing Disneyland down last night. I'm not used to being up that late...and then having to drive home too. I have to do shopping for the week today and do a little cleaning. With that and work this week, there's not much else going on.

It's a typical week at our house: work, school, swim practice. Next weekend is open (that's 2 weeks in a row for us! WooHoo!), so if the weather cooperates, we're going to continue with our garden makeover. The Hubster and I are creating a vegetable garden in the backyard. It's got all of us excited!

busy, busy beginning of the week!

today, i'm babysitting (she's napping now), more babysitting after school, cleaning house
tomorrow, babysitting again, packing, cleaning, getting crap in order
wednesday...leaving for vacation with DH :D

DD and I went to our first playgroup this morning. It went pretty well... but now I'm nervous abt having to host them at my house in a few weeks! *lol*

I'm making sugar cookies tonight for DD to decorate tomorrow and then surprise my ILs with some tomorrow morning/afternoon. I need to do a VDay photo shoot, but DD has been such a pill lately that I'm dreading attempting one with her.

That's it besides the usual stuff. :)
