It's Monday again.....

What is everyone up to this week?

My older boys have golf camp everyday from 9-12:15 and my little 2 have their last week of swim everyday from 12:30-1:00 so we have busy mornings! Good news is that the little 2 swim like fishes (even the 2 year old) so my worries about them drowning won't keep me up at night anymore. They are so, so proud of themselves too..that I love to see :)

We have some movie nights planned and I just ordered the older boys a new tent to put up in the loft for move nights (thanks JenJ) and I am hoping we can sneak in ZooKeeper and Mr. Poppers Penguins thing week. My DH is home all week this week for the first time in forever so that will be nice too!
 
My oldest has soccer from 11-12 today and Wednesday. Thanks to too much sun, running, and not enough sleep we aren't feeling good though; mix that with the rainy 60 degree weather we will be missing soccer today. Other then that we don't have plans most the week. Friday night I have date night with the hubs that I'm beyond excited about! We are going to see a Jack's Mannequin concert. Then on Sunday we are having a family bbq with the neighbors. Fun stuff!
 
Not much. I still need to organize my bookcases. lol Never got around to that last week.
My boys come home today to stay for the whole week. My mom and two younger siblings have some church thing this week so the boys have to come home. They've actually spent the weekend at my dad's (with my older brother, I don't trust my dad and step-mom to take care of them for the whole weekend) and are coming home sometime today. Not sure what time.
Also my best friend is in town this week from Kentucky and is supposed to be coming to dinner one night this week with her fiance and baby, but we haven't settled on which day yet.
 
We are done with sports for the summer... Wahoo!!! :) This week my boys have VBS in the mornings and they are super excited about that. They talk about the fun for the rest of the year, so to say they are looking forward to this is a huge understatment. :)

We have zilch going on for the evening and I'm SO happy about that. biking riding and playing in the backyard. Yay!
 
We just got home (yesterday) from our big vacay for the summer! We went to the Keys and then spent this past weekend in NYC! We're all so exhausted but getting back on track. My boys started a new summer camp today, so I'm pretty nervous! Back at work, bleh. Hoping that the boys are having fun and not miserable, other then that, just getting back into the swing of things :)
 
today we are holing up and trying to stay dry, if at all possible. it's been pouring down rain for about 6 straight hours now. not sure it will ever stop

i do need to make a grocery trip sometime today, so hopefully we'll get a break eventually. i hate grocery shopping in a downpour.

we have sebastian's bday party this weekend, and next week we will be visiting my parents, so i need to prepare for that... translation - do laundry, clean the house and pack. boo.
 
Just completed two weekend trips camping and we are not going anywhere this coming weekend so its time to clean up the camper and get ready for July 1st. This week I hope to catch up on laundry....but do you really ever catch up on it?!?!? Just asking :D

Heading to the grocery store this afternoon to buy some food for the house.
 
first gotta call insurance to get my truck windshield replace. cracks in windshield..uugh. Then sometimes this week I would like to transplant some of my plants and add new soil to the rest of them. Might be a couple hours work there. Then Gotta scrap some page :) :) for my CT team :) :) Not sure but I know this week will be busy again. Gotta go to the farm, check the field, irrigate, check the fences. Hopefully it wont be windy.
 
The kids have vacation bible school this week and are going with their grandparents and they are excited about that! We are hoping to get our application process finished for the private school. I talked on the phone today with a lady about a job and she said she would call me back later this week for an interview so hopefully that will happen. We will see! Lots of life changes going on here and I am not sure what to make of it all. *sigh* It's gonna be different for sure!
 
Oh sounds like lots of fun plans!!

DH is out of town all week and it's so hot out that we're not going outside much, unfortunately so we're making the fun come inside to us. :) Today is going to be ballerina day..dress up in tutu, paint our nails, dance around all silly like, that kind of fun stuff. Outside of that I'm hoping to get some good scrapping and writing done.
 
Sigh, I have an application due Friday (it's for an inventor contest). I've been putting it off for a while but it looks like I really have to put it together this week. So I'll be doing that, in addition to the usual research work. Good news is my advisor is gone for part of the week so I'll be able to work from home - I save the commute time, it's less stressful, and I might be able to go running during the day (unless it's too hot). Other than work, I don't have much planned, which is good. :)
 
Work and clean, clean and work. Hoping to hear back about a job I interviewed for. I was gone for 3 days last week and now this week is catch up!
 
monday is cleaning day in our home. and i created a job jar for the kids to help me clean. this is the 3rd week and it still worked, however there was a bit of bickering and i can sense resistance starting. LOL but my house is clean and it only takes the kids 1-2 hours each week to get it down. i think they can sacrifice that time each week. as for the rest of the week. this is the FIRST time yet this summer we are not slammed with activities each day. we will do a picnic and a trip to see the butterflies. and then we have youth conferences and scouts and car washes this weekend. i will enjoy the time off while it lasts. i hope to scrap a page or two this week too! it's been WEEKS since my last layout! ugh.

this week is rather manis today we all had to go to the dentist and if you remember from earlier posts,finlay is petrified so there refering him to a special child clinic to do his treatment with happy gas,tomorrow i have to take gabbi to be weighed wednesday we have the boys football presentation thursday i promised the kids they could go swimming and friday im going to see erasures concert woop woop and then i can relax he he
 
Not much happening here either. We are just trying to get through the last few days till DH comes back from the states. The boys are still in kindergarten (they only have three weeks off for summer break here, and not till the end of july) so we are busy with that. The weather here STINKS. It's cold and raining and we were in jackets today so it's hard to feel too summery. I guess we should enjoy it because next summer we will be in Texas and I am sure we will get plenty of the hot then. The days is about over and the kids are in bed. Now to sit down and do some scrappy stuff :)
 
We're settling in to the rhythm of summer vacation now, which is nice. We have tons of birthday parties and camp this week, so it will still be busy. My oldest turns 13 on Sunday. (*BIG SIGH*) We're in high gear for party planning.
 
Monday is Laundry Day
and I haven't planned the rest of the week yet, but sure need to get some weed-whacking done
