It feels like dejavú! It's been raining since late afternoon yesterday! We had really bad floods 2 weeks ago and it seems we are going on the same road again. Everything is already saturated with water, so this is not looking good.
This was a week after the flood. Yes, those are picnic tables wrapped around that tree leaning against our riverwalk bridge.
So what season are you "enjoying" right now and how is it looking?
Well we started yesterday having springish weather - mid 70 degree temps and sunshine.
By the time I picked up the kids from school it was overcast, windy, and a chilly 60 degrees.
We woke up to 40 degree temps this morning.
Stick around and maybe spring will show itself again at some point.
Well, we had a mini heat wave in the middle of the week. I almost turned on the AC a few days ago. Now yesterday and today it's back to mid 50s. It just started sprinkling a little bit here a few minutes ago. We have our town's big Blossom Parade tomorrow with all the local high school "queens". I think it's supposed to rain tomorrow too which is too bad. I hope it holds off for that.
eeek Dalis look at all that water damage! Not cool!
I hate to brag but we are having truly delightful Autumn-y weather here in Brisbane ... the sun is shining, there is a soft breeze and the birds are screaming in joy while hanging upside down outside my window getting drunk on the Grevillia flowers ... perfect!
We've eventually had some nice weather here in the UK the past week or so. How sad that the best thing about this for me is that it means I can get the washing dried on the line? lol!
Yea. That is wayyyy too much rain. It has gotten up to the 60s and 70s here. Next week's forecast is in the 70s. I am excited to finally be able to feel my hands again. lol!
OY Dalis that looks nasty! I sure hope it will not be as bad this time for you guys. We are starting to see a little watery spring sun here. So when I woke up with the sunlight pooring through the windows I grabbed my jacket and went for a walk with the dog all happy until I got outside. What looked like a lovely Spring Day was just that watery sun and a darn cold cold wind! YUCK! I 've totally had it up to my nose whit the cold and the grey and the snow and the rain.
Oh...I can't imagine all that rain! I do remember getting lots of rain living in Seattle, but that's been so many years ago!
We are having record breaking temps. It was in the low 100's here yesterday...close to that the day before. It's because of the Santa Ana winds...fires out by the coast...nasty stuff. Today is glorious. It will be in the mid 80's. Next week we'll be back to normal and in the low to mid 70's. Maybe some sprinkles this weekend is in the forecast.
Earlier this week it was 86 degrees and I used the air conditioner... then Thurs and Friday we got snow and set all sorts of records! Now today it's melting and rainy... Phew. By next week it's supposed to be back about 70s. Such odd weather - where is spring?
