Iphone touchscreen not working

Has anyone else had problems with their iPhone 6s plus?
Tonight my touchscreen stopped responding. No matter how many times I've restarted I can't consistently type in my password to get on. I can type maybe 2 numbers & it stops. Plus if flickers in a weird way which it never has before.

I can't call, text, play games, play with photos.
I'm dying here! Didn't realize how dependent I am on that darn thing.

Try a hard reset first. Press down the home button AND the on/off button on the right side at the same time. Hold them til your phone goes off. Let it stay off for a minute or two and then open again. This often helps the 'innards' get back in place!

Oh no... I'd be an unhappy camper! Can you take it to Apple to ask... or your phone service company?

not with my 6plus (knock on wood) but it did happen with the iPad. i did a hard reset - like maureen mentioned and all was OK after. hope you can get it working again soon. good luck!

I have the same phone it has happened a couple times. I've done the same shutdown and it then works fine.

That gives me shivers to think about. I KNOW how dependent I am on my phone. I joke with my hubby all the time that if I don't have my phone nearby, I don't know where I'm supposed to be. I hope you've gotten it working again by now!
