iPhone 4 vs. 4s opinions?

Hi. I am giving my husband my iPhone and I'm taking our upgrade yay! It looks like the iPhone 4 is now free but it is 8gb. The 4s is $99 and 16gb. Money is incredibly tight but I'm thinking I might need the extra 8gb. Also I see that the camera on the 4 is 5 megapixels and the camera on the 4s is 8 megapixels. I do use my camera phone as my main camera. Do you guys think the differences between the 4 and 4s are worth the money? I don't have music on my phone now but I want to download music. Will it take up a lot of room fast? If you were me what would you do? If you had the 4 and the 4s did you notice the difference. Was the photo quality noticeable? It would be nice to scrap my iPhone photos! Thanks a million! And for all of you iPhone 5 people...lucky!

The difference in quality of the photos between the 4 and the 4S is quite noticeable. I know lots of people who upgraded just for the camera alone.

Yep - I would definitely say the 4s is worth the $99. And you will definitely want that extra space! I have the 4s and my memory is almost full. LOL

I have the 4 in the 16 GB and between myself and my dd- the memory is almost full. If you can swing the $99, I think the 4S will definitely be worth it to you...and not just because of the memory. The 4S has a newer chip that makes its processor a little bit faster than the 4. IOS 6 will be released soon and you will probably need that extra boost from the processor. I remember when the iPhone 4 and the new IOS were released; my sister had issues trying to connect her 3GS to iTunes and could not get the new IOS to load. It kept freezing. So if you can...I say go for the 4S. I am definitely patiently waiting on the 5.

Definitely worth it. You don't want to waste your upgrade on a phone that is 2 versions old, ya know? The 4s is only a year old, and is a great phone. Well worth $99.

I think it's worth the $99 too. DH upgraded to the 4s in May and I got his 4, so I'm stuck with the crappy camera..

Yep - I say 4S too. When I had to upgrade from the 4 to 4S I definitely noticed the difference in photo quality. Plus, I do like Siri.

ETA - when they come out with the new iOS it'll likely run better on a 4S than on a 4 because of a better processor.

yep...that's me. I upgraded for the camera. I have the 16gb and it's perfect for me. I couldn't do it with an 8gb
