(feeling embarrassed)

How do I get my instagram photos onto my computer so I can get them into photoshop? I'm using an android phone, and I thought I could just go to the instagram website and download the photos or something, but there doesn't seem to be such an option.

Thanks!

The only way I know how on Android is to send them to my email and then I right click and save the image from there. Maybe someone else has a quicker way.

I have an iPhone and in the settings I can send it to my email from there. But typically, I forget and I just send them from my camera roll to my email. :)

I usually plug in my phone to the laptop and move them from the instagram folder into my pictures folder. That way I get all of them at once, :)

I use one of the websites that uses the Instagram API! There are several.

http://extragr.am
http://statigr.am
http://instagrid.me

Just log into these sites with your Instagram account. You will see all your photos in one place, like this: http://instagrid.me/listgirl/

Then I just click one to see it big, and right click to download to my computer. Since my Instagram pics are only 712x712 pixels anyways, the copy you download isn't worse quality than what's on your phone.

And also, on Extragr.am, when you click on a photo, it will tell you the date it was taken and also what filter was used, which I find awesome! One problem with Instagram photos on the phone is that it does not have the date taken data saved with the photo. So when I get it into Lightroom it isn't sorted with the correct date.

I plug my phone into the computer too. I actually prefer to have the non-instagrammed version anyway. Instagram's fun but it's nice to have the option of keeping the pic without the filter too.

Well i installed dropbox on my iphone and pc and it works amazing and sooooo quick!! Not sure you can use it fir an android though

Ok, Petra I love you! I just used Dropbox to upload my phone photos and it names the photo the date and time it was taken! OMG, that's AWESOME for those Instagram photos where I didn't think the data was available!

Dropbox!!!! If you have a MAC you can get the carousel app and drag them right from there as well!
