GAH!!

I go to the doctor some time ago... At least a month because I'm incredibly tired. Like sleeping through my lunch breaks tired. Doctor does some tests. Calls me two weeks later saying everything was normal except for one thing so they want me to come back for follow up.

"what about mono?" I say.

"what about what?" the doctor says to me as if he has never heard of it.

"did you run a test for mononucleosis?" I say trying to keep my cool.

"remind me when you come back for the follow up and we can run one then."

I went back last week. For follow up tests which all came back normal.... Except testing positive for.... Anyone wanna guess?

Mono!!

Grr. So glad I asked to have blood work run for that. Good thing in not sticking around this city for much longer otherwise I would have to find a new doctor. :(

At least I have an answer for wanting to sleep all the time!

That is strange they didn't test you for that right off the bat with those symptoms. Well at least now you have a diagnosis. Hope you start feeling better soon :)

Oh dear. Totally think you should go with Liana's suggestion! Ha ha!

Poor thing though, I hope you feel better soon! That can be a tough thing to kick I've heard.

i went to work this morning. everyone was super understandable and sent me home. I'm going to be home for the next few days sleeping when i'm tired instead of fighting to stay awake. thanks for all the well wishes! i hope i'm back to normal soon!

and yes liana, if i ever go back to that dr. i'm gonna make out with him so hard!
