Imitate and Stimulate
An Art Journal or Scrapbook Challenge
to help stimulate your arty side.

To play: use this page to imitate BUT not "replicate", be inspired
by the colours, the images, the layout or even rotate the design, anything that helps
to bust through that mojo and stimulate! There are no
right or wrongs it's your creativity
based on what inspires
you.

Okay, the dog woke me up at 2:30 am to go outside, I'm not wearing my glasses, I look at the inspiration piece and I see a girl trapped with craziness going on in her head. I dig through my Sissy Sparrows stuff (squinting) and find pieces that speak to me. The blending mode on the background paper turns blue and voila! The color!! Don't ask me why.... This is it!!!

Don't you just love it when the dog wakes you up from barking at nothing..but at least it got your inspiration going for you page Diane!!

Yours looks amazing Christa The blues in your background are amongst my favourite colours. I think that is what stimulated my inspiration as well.

So glad Dalis that you were able to finally grab Room 19 and Wow on you page :beat
 
I created an ATC for this challenge. I was inspired by the face, the lettering along the side and the scribble across the page.

 
The letters on the side spoke of a code to me and the negative image of the woman. Took a negative image of myself, starting with my eyes closed, but the eyes in the kit had to be on there. As big decisions and wild revelations have helped me break free of old beliefs I feel like I'm breaking a code to who I really am.



I'm addicted.
