For the Pioneer Woman at Barnes & Noble.
Got lost on my way here.

I wish you were here, Dana. I can play Bejeweled only so many times.
I'm eating a cupcake right now. I should have chosen something not sweet. Oh well.
 
Mimi and Dana - are you both from Chicago area?!!! Mimi - you are so lucky. I didn't realize she was coming up this far north until this morning when she said she was in Chicago area. I am a 3 hr drive, but totally would have done it if I could have planned a little more! Hope it went well and that you got a signing and pic!

Carolee, I didn't realize you were in the Chicago area. whereabouts? I'm near Woodfield Mall.

I've been meaning to blog about this but we just got Wii so i've been distracted. :D

anyway, PW was very nice, for lack of a better word. I was number 188, and didn't get my books signed until almost 11pm! She started signing a bit before 8pm I think. the reason it took so long was that she let everyone who wanted to get a photo with her. Marlboro Man was there too and he was signing books and also getting his pic taken with anyone who wanted. She did a brief Q&A before she started signing. She also did her Ethel Merman impression.

Oh my word Mimi - I am jealous! What fun! Can't wait to see her blog about it- she keeps saying she is going to! Wow - how great of her to give the shirts! Glad you had fun!
