i'm so needy...

i still haven't purchased my airline ticket to hawaii...(WHAT am i waiting for anyway?!) need summer lovely breezy clothes cuz you know i love me some sweaters where i live...and i'm thinking of canceling my cable and just going with netflix and i want your opinion about that. (horrible run on sentence).

so - summer clothes? where? on the net?

netflix? how do i cope with american idol, so you think you can dance, dancing with the stars - which i do not believe have an online edition of their episode (who else would i be missing?)

bring it.

:giggle

I wouldn't cancel cable for netflix - we run into long periods of time when the movies we want have a "long wait" or "very long wait"

If you have any tech skills or if hubby does you can get a lot of programs on the web. DH has been looking into it since we are moving to Europe and we don't want to miss all the good shows. Or you can try HULU.

First, buy that ticket! LOL I'm staring out the window at 14 inches of snow. I think I need to at least see some Hawaii pics.

Summer clothes on the net - great deals at Macys.com right now. They have a huge summer clearance and it's an extra 15% off for the next few days. I shopped their summer stuff for a winter trip to Palm Springs and got some amazing deals.

As for Netflix, that's pretty much how I get all of my TV. The only criticism I have is that sometimes the wait is very long for the hottest new releases. As long as you put them in your queue before they are released, you'll be fine. Not sure on the reality tv stuff... but I bet someone will know where you can catch them online.

i actually found a few pieces on line but to get them shipped to my house before i leave on my trip? hello arm and leg. i'm gonna hit up my daugther's closet and some thrift stores. i totally do not care what i look like - just not sweaters from head to toe.

I ditto this! I get soooo mad because so much of what I want ends up being wait listed for like EVER! I still won't cancel because Blockbuster is so darn expensive, but I couldn't go without my cable/satellite! lol

We had blockbuster before we moved, and switched to netflix because of mailing times. There's no blockbuster close to us, so it was taking 2-3 days to get movies.

Part of our problem was we were on a run of renting TV shows, and we had a bunch of those out when some of the new release movies came out, so we got backed up because of that.
