I'm Expecting (need help)

You thought I meant a baby?!? HAHAHAHAHA... HECK no!

I'm expecting this little guy to arrive at our house Saturday night and he needs a name. I thought about letting the boys name him but I really want something more for him than "Fluffy", "Floppy", or (knowing my kids) "Fart".

He's the sweetest little thing in the world... very gentle and calm. I wanted to name him something Biblical since he is an Easter present and thought about the name "Christian"... but I'm just not sure if he looks like that should be his name. (and btw Peter... peter rabbit...no... I want something unique)

Here is what I've come up with so far but would love to know which one you like best: (or perhaps you have a suggestion of your own)

Christian
Jacque (not [jackie] like the designer... like Jacque Cousteau)
Murphy
Monroe
Leo (leonardo)
Hans
Oliver
George
Carmichael (only b/c he looks caramel and I was trying to draw Michael from the Bible)

Ok... help. please. :heartslub

Oh... He's so cute!!!

I too like Murphy... I like Carmichael too and Leo too!!!

Totally adorable! :)

Another vote for Murphy or Leo. :)

Another Murphy or Leo. We had a bunny for many years until my allergies went haywire and I had to get rid of him. They are amazing pets, much more like dogs than hamsters. Make sure he gets lots of cage free time, and consider getting him fixed. They spray just like male dogs and it gets messy. Plus they are more mellow and less aggressive.

Good luck with your new family member, he's adorable!!

he's way cute :]
I like murphy :]
i have a bunny.. he's way mean :p LOL be prepared for some weirdo aggro behavoirs and so forth as it gets older. Mine attacks my cat -.- Supposedly getting them fixed helps, but when i adopted mine he wasn't a cute little bebe anymore.. he's pretty set in his meanness :p

ohhhhhhhhh I was thinking about give one to my boy too... but I´ve killed all my rabbits when i was a child, hahahha
- I forgot to feed them :/
and i feel soooooooo sorry about it..

My grandfather raised rabbits so I know better than to have more than one around. LOL I love the name Murphy!

I would say Leo too... that's the first thing that jumped into me when I saw the names :) only if Pronounced in English, cause in dutch it would be a an old guys' name...LOL. You would pronounce as Lao...haha

I love Murphy as a name for him. I had a Lionhead bunny named Leo(after Leonardo DeCaprio lol). I have 2 house bunnies, Lily and Frisky, both fixed. They are such a great source of entertainment! I hope you have the best time with your new furry friend. Definitely, they need cage free time. My Frisky stays out of his cage and is in my bedroom behind a baby gate. Lily is in a circle pen that I constructed out of wire cube sets. They aren't bonded yet so they take turns when I'm home getting out to play.
Ok, I know that's more than you wanted to know LOL, can you tell I'm passionate about my bunnies?

LOL, La, you've got me giggling. My Frisky is a little mean, very territorial, he also attacks our cats, but he is a sweetie and loves his head pettings. He is hyper and loves to binky about. Lily is lazy and just a little fat.

Bunnies are wonderful pets. If kept inside they have a great chance at a wonderful life of 8-12 yrs. If you have them spayed/neutered they have almost zero % chance of reproductive type cancers and it really does cut down on messiness. My worst challenge with my bunnies is there is one spot on the couch that they just have to chew...luckily it's about worn out anyway...and they like to pluck & dig at the carpet..but hey, I want hardwood anyway. The little things like that don't bother me but DH doesn't like that stuff one bit LOL.

He is so cute! Another Murphy fan here.

The only contact I had with pet bunnies was rescuing a neighbour's bunny that was escaping from their yard while they were out. I didn't know the neighbours (they kept to themselves and only spoke Italian, so there was a language barrier) but figured they wouldn't want their bunny getting lost.

Turns out they were raising them for food, and I just sentenced that poor bunny to the dinner table. :(

Murphy is cute! I had a bunny once, that looked just like this one, and I called him George. :)

You totally got me! :giggle
He's adorable! :beat I have a soft spot for bunnies!
