I'm dreading...

potty training. My Violet is ready, I am not. I mean she is super excited and talks about wearing big girl undies all the time, but she needs a lot of help getting there. I think it's time, but I'm dreading it! (She's 2 1/2 btw.) I was perusing the store when I remembered this kit and thought, "maybe if I buy this it'll motivate me!" Think it'll work?

Now I'm thinking that I need that kit!!!

I'm potty training my little one right now. As soon as we can take a break from homeschool and I can give her some undivided attention, she's going to be in panties full time and we're getting super serious about it. She's dry most of the time, but still hasn't gotten pooping in the potty yet. That's going to be the hard part!

Good luck with your little girl...it sounds like she's ready! :)

So glad I don't have to do that again. But once you do it, you can relax. I remember once before potty training I found one of my boys fingerpainting in his poop. UGH! He got way too quiet quickly. Potty training........ good!

Best of luck on the potty training... yet another milestone to conquer! And yes, this kit will certainly motivate you girl! :-)

* My Emma is now 14, but I still remember sitting in front of the potty chair for 10 minutes, waiting and waiting for her to tinkle... LOL! :-)

haha! :) i love the kit idea :)

My DS is 16 months old and still some way to go for the potty training!...Mom is not looking forward to it at all ! :)

I dreaded it, too, esp. since DD had no interest. I finally had to force her a few months ago when she hit 3 1/2 so she could go to preschool in the fall... and it was a couple of insane days, but then fine. As long as I force her to sit on the potty every couple hours, we're all good. I used that kit, too!

I'm dreading it too, but we still have a bit. I'm hoping baby #2 will be easier since she loves to mimic her big sister! I've had that kit on my wishlist for awhile though!

I'm mostly putting it off because I want to clear out a whole week or so where we can just be at home and really get it down. Easier said than done! And also because i remember what a pain it was with my boys. ugh, i think it was a good year before my oldest figured out #2. She will be old enough for preschool in the fall so I definitely want to get her trained before then.

That's what we did with our oldest, my hubby took his two week vacation and she was trained by the end. I think she was close to three. Of course, then he bragged to everyone that HE potty trained her when I couldn't, LOL!

oh yeah that kit is rocking!! Wish I saw that when Lina was potty trained!!! Although I could still make another page, can't I? haha

Good luck with the potty training...Lina went on the potty as soon as she could walk and it sure payed off, she was all potty trained at 2 yrs and 2 weeks... She's now 28 months old and she's doing awsome, she's not even wearing a diaper at night anymore! I'm sure if you put her on the potty a few times a day and maybe use training diapers, she'll be potty trained soon...esp since it sounds like she IS def ready :D

I hope it's quick and easy for you! I remember waiting 2 hours with my dd sitting on the potty before she went the first time. It only took her a couple of days to get the hang of it.

Remember to breath in and out through the entire process! Also remember that her muscles are not as strong as yours and she is working on "holding it".... and if you need to, close yourself in the bathroom and breath in and out. I thought B would never be potty trained I was SURE of this. I had nightmares of me sending her to college in depends! So know this is the hardest thing you will do in your life, ok? Now, go get the kit and make her some cool sticker system.

Love that kit. My son was potty trained within a week, it was great! Hope it's just as easy and quick for you guys as well.

Oh boy... potty training time is tough (on mama's) LOL!!
I had the best results when I had me kiddos only wear undies (no pants).
It's like it registered faster or something in their little minds or something. T
hen, I had a bid stack of clean undies just ready.

Good luck!

Uhhh...ummm... *hangs head in shame* still haven't begun. I did buy a big stack of cute undies. I just need to start!
