I'm crying over here...

My youngest son dropped the iPad on the floor and the screen turned green!!!! OMG, my hubby got so mad at him. Poor boy, he didnt do it on purpose. Now, everyone is crying and there's no way to get it fixed :( The nearest apple store is in Sao Paulo, miles away from here :cry

oh no val! poor little boy!!

This happened to us too. My 6 year old dropped it and the screen went green and wonky. My hubby took the flat part of his hand and smacked the ipad really hard on the back. It changed the color back and it's been fine since. LOL Now, I am not saying that will work, but it might be worth a try?

Yep, same thing happened here and this is finally how I fixed it. I was literally sick to my stomach when it happened and searched all over the internet and called the apple store and there was no good news in any of that and I finally thought, "well if I'm gonna have to get a new one might as well try hitting it again." LOL. I still can't believe it worked but that has been months ago and it is just like it always was and I haven't had any problems with it. Hope you can get it fixed.

Oh no Val! I hope giving it a good whack will help!!

oh my word, I think I have never been that worried before. I got really sick to my stomach as well, Amanda!!!!
I told hubby to do it as your hubby did, Laura and it worked fine. Thank God! Let's see if it will be ok forever lol Super thanks for the tips!! :) You saved my day!!! :wubb

OMG, if my daughter ever drops her school owned iPad, I'll have to remember this!

Val, I'm so glad it worked! (and I hope your son got a reprieve from your husband, too)

Oooooh nooooo...poor boy...Hope it will continue working!
Never heard of fixing by hitting...this is cool!!!

oh wow so glad you got it sorted and your husband sounds like mine shouts and over reacts then thinks about it

WOW!! That is awesome that you fixed it with a smack on the backside!!! I would have never thought to do that!

Now....go buy an Otterbox Case for it.........

Wow! So glad you fixed it. Its like if you lose your memory by hitting your head and you get your memory back by hitting your head again, lol!

Just another reason I love being part of the pad! So glad it's working again and I hope your son is ok.
