This is sort of an enabling post, sort of not...

I am planning to pick a small amount of TLP element packs for "pre-shadowing" and saving on my tablet for app scrapping. If you had to pick just 5 element packs, which would they be?!

I'm looking for versatility on themes and colors, looks great with pocket style pages... I have stitching already, as well as all of the 2015 stacked pocket cards from Just Jaimee's Storyteller.

I'm thinking versatile word art packs, maybe a sprinkles pack, washi tape, buttons, flowers... what would you pick?!

For buttons, I would definitely recommend Gina Miller's Button Bonanza Mega Pack:

Sorry!! Didn't mean to! Most of my app scrapping has been with a non TLP bundle I purchased for the baby albums I'm working on. But I am loving the process of it! Just want to expand my project list so I stop feeling bored with it. I need to mix it all up!

Those are cute!! Wide color variety, huge plus!
I know I just grabbed a flower pack from Kim Jensen a week or so ago, and also have one from Danyale!

What app are you using? Not all apps will accept "outside help" ....

I'd choose some of Just Jaimee's stacked elements and frames - bang for the buck there.
Use one app to add photo/shadows then drop into something like PL.

these go a long way to adding depth to PL pages.

I use a few, but for simplicity sake, I'll leave it at two. :giggle I use the main Project Life app , and an app called "PhotoLayers". The method I've found to work for me is to do the shadowing on elements first, save to my tablet second. I create a layout in the PL app with photos and journaling. To many people, that is enough... but I really miss the elements and shadows, so I had to find something. This is the first I've found, and I stopped looking into it after that... I am on an Android device (I mainly use my tablet, but also could use my smartphone) and many of the apps I've heard about are not available for Android.

So anyway... after I make my PL layout, I then go into the PhotoLayers app, where I can add up to ten layers. When I'm done, I take it back to the PL app to export into jpg for printing.

The frames you linked really aren't as easy to use in the apps, but I have my eye on those for black Friday again. When there's a big huge deal... I love those things! The stacked clips, however.... those would only count as 1 layer in my photo layers app! :giggle

I would go for sprinkles and transfers/paint that kind of thing. I am so not a button or flower person but a lot of those come in freebies here and there. If you're going back to CC or PSE in the very end of your process, I'd get some styles actions to make your own word art incl a glitter set or two. Creative Market has 4 freebies every week incl great brush fonts.

Good idea, too...

But this post is more of a... if you were limited to space on your computer / EHD /what have you, which element packs would you keep? (And "more space" isn't an option!)

:giggle

I put the last month's MPM kit up in Dropbox when I thought I might be using the PL APP. i'll now switch it to this month's. I also keep a lot of Ali Edwards word art on DB.

If I were buying now, I'd prob get a few summer packs cause that could last YOU a long time in your hot weather.
