What fun! I love surprise parties! My oldest wanted a surprise party this year and it just didn't work with everyone coming from out of town, but I'm hoping to be able to pull one off this year for him.
Love all those cute pictures!
He's been trying to guess what his birthday present would be since January. Usually we don't do surprise presents, we take them out to pick their presents. But he was so down around Christmas time because all he wanted was new games, but it's impossible to find games for the Gameboy he had. We ended up getting him a new Playstation and Wii game then, but DS were just too high then.
We ended up finding them on sale at Toys R Us last weekend on sale for $89, plus, my brother is a manager for a skateboarding team for a store here and he talked one of his guys into using his Toys R Us employee discount to get it and then we just paid him $70 (I think it was 70/75) cash.
But we had so much fun making him guess, and the funny thing is he
never guessed it at all. He said new games once, and then said no because he couldn't play them. It never occurred to him that we'd get him a DS. lol
Oh, and he hates his hair. lmao. He always has. He's really shy, and strangers are always coming up to him wanting to touch his hair or talk about it. Not to mention the girls at school. The girls at school think he's
sooo cute. lol He's not old enough yet to appreciate that. He actually prefers to keep it shaved, but between how much hair and how curly the hair him, his brother, and his dad have we burn out clippers all the time, and we currently need to buy new ones.
