As scrapbookers, you all will appreciate this...

This morning my 16 year old had her very first day at work at a "real job". I REALLY wanted a photo of her, but given that she had to be at work at 5:30am and she goes straight to a five hour dance rehearsal right after, I knew I would be pushing her patience if I asked for photos. I decided that I would just have to journal about it on my project life spread and be happy with that (she has this job all summer, I could take other photos later)... anything else would be gravy. Well... imagine my surprise when I opened Facebook and saw photos of my smiling girl at work on her high school's page (she was offered the job through a program at school)!!! What a fun, low stress way to get some photos for my scrapbooking!

And Bart's excited about it too....

That’s wonderful! I steal my daughter’s Instagram photos all the time.

I have arrived at my destination so I can check the forum again. Alas! I have to use my phone, so it’s much clumsier.

Fantastic story Tracie! So glad you could see her at work and got photos to scrap too! So glad no burns happened! @tkradtke

Yes Jan!! When they were younger, I was with them to get the photos, now I rely on them to take the photos or outside sources to post them for me to grab!

I found one of my dd at her job that my son had posted on Instagram. I took the outside photo the next time I had to pick her up.

How exciting for her, glad you were able to snag some photos!! How was her first day?

I love when school/Guides/my kids friends provide me my scrapping photos for the moments I'm not around for! Congratulations on... maybe having to spend less on a back to school wardrobe in September?
