if i get sick again at ALL this winter... i'm going to start poking people in the eye :p

lol.. I thought kindy was bad with the germs kid brought home. Apparently first grade = more germs ...and germs that keep you down for weeks :p I think i'm finally almost better. children :furious
 
aaah! that is the most frustrating thing about sending them to school i think! meagan has had a cough for a solid 4 weeks now... maybe longer. i talked to the doctor about it, and he just said, 'it's going around. you'll have to let it run its course.' baaah! so for 4 weeks i have sent my child to school with a gross cough... which she most likely GOT from someone at school, and has since, most likely SHARED it with more than one person there. so now, somewhere out there, i'm imagining another parent upset because "someone" sent their kid to school sick. grrr... it's a vicious, germ-sharing cycle!!

i REALLY hope you feel better soon!!
 
totally.. last year ce was absent 15 days during sicky gross winter cold season... and that was WITH sending him to school sick.. it just goes round and round. cough cough. onto the next kid.. till everyone's disgusting and germy :p He got better way quicker t han i did.. but maybe it's because he sits in that cesspool of germs of a class room every day LOL he's becoming immune to the yuck.
 
Ugh...it's amazing how Nov. comes around and the germs are running around rampant! Hope you are on the mend la!
 
Yeah, my son is in first grade too and he's had at least three colds already this year. Thankfully, none have been bad enough to keep him home yet... but the winter season is just beginning. Hate it!

karen, i totally agree... i would take a cough any day over stomach junk. any day!

yes i love winter season school germs, its such a fun and joyful time made even more happy when HUBBY gets sick * sigh*
im even more thrilled when pink eye comes home from school too
 
awww Seriously I can totally relate! we just can't seem to get over the sickies and I got it the worst this time. :( no fun! I am glad you are getting over it though!
 
lol I think i'd poke MYSELF in the eye if i had to deal with a hubby getting sick.
sickie season is one of the million times i am thankful it's just the kid and i hahaha


last year.. ce got pink eye like 5 times. srsly. wtf. keep your children home.
 
Oh yes, I have one in kindergarten and one in grade one. We've been non stop sick at this house for over a month. You dont even want to know what I've spent on medicine/antibiotics.
