I think I need Mid'ol
so yesterday i went to the store to pick up some photos i had printed. i was in line behind this olderish lady who was buying a prepaid att phone card for her cell phone. the guys said 'that will be $27.25' she says, "WHAT!? it's only a $25 phone card?!!!" to which he calmly and plainly explained the concept of TAX and a $.25 9-1-1 fee that is required for these cards. i figured his explanation was sufficient, but clearly she thought otherwise. and it wasn't the $2.00 of tax that had her panties in a bunch. it was the friggin' 25 cent 9-1-1 fee. she literally argued with the guy for a solid 5 minutes that she would never need to call 911. that if she were ever in a car accident, it would be HER that would call 911, it would be someone else driving by. and if she's at home, then she would use her home phone. and the $.25 is a rip off and an outrage and blah blah blah blah blah. seriously, i wanted to hand the chick a quarter so she would move on with life.
